This home is situated in Toffia, one of the most stunning, lively and better kept medieval hilltop villages of the Sabine Hills, just north of Rome and near Umbria. It is about 45-50 minutes by car to central Rome.
This home is situated close to the central church (which used to be the castle of the village). You are near the town piazza (square) and have access by car, if needed.
The property measures 70 sq m, plus 34 sq m of tavern room.
The apartment is spacious and light, with bigger than average double-glazed windows and has been recently renovated to a very high standard.
It occupies half of this well maintained 16th century building.

Both bedrooms and the new bathroom have stunning views that stretch for at least 20 miles over the rolling hills of Sabina, completely covered with olive groves.
The atvern-style room used to be the palazzos wine cellar and boasts very high oak beamed ceilings and two windows. This room is very large and has been renovated to retain its rustic look. <br>It's perfect for parties and is a very cool and relaxing are to enjoy in the summer months.
At a lower level there is also a picturesque cave excavated in the rock, once used to mature cheese and keep wine cool.

Toffia is one of the most unspoilt, lively and better kept medieval hilltop villages in Italy. It is conveniently situated between Rome and Umbria and is full of ancient restored palazzos, churches and small piazzas from which it is possible to admire sweeping views of olive groves and vineyards in the surrounding valleys.
As other villages in the region, Toffia's beauty has not been yet discovered by mass tourism and retains all its authenticity.
Reaching Rome:
- By car: 35 minutes to the Rome's ring road (metropolitan area) via A1 motorway or 50 minutes to the very centre of Rome (Spanish Steps).
- By car and train (park and ride): 15 minutes to Fara Sabina Train Station, then 39 minutes to central Rome (Tiburtina Station).
- By bus from Toffia + train: about an hour in total.
