Residential property

Purchasing in a foreign country can be a tiring and complicated process. Several trips abroad, trudging from one estate agency to the next searching for the right property. Then you have to find a surveyor…and a lawyer…and a notary…and deal with a mountain of unfamiliar paperwork – all in a foreign language. Before long, finding your dream home starts turning into a nightmare.

That's where The Property Organiser comes in. Our job is to do all that hard work – so you don't have to. Just tell us what kind of property you require – anywhere in Italy – and we will take care of absolutely everything else. At no extra cost to you.

Our contacts with hundreds of estate agencies, construction companies and private vendors across Italy mean we can search far and wide to find several properties that meet your specifications, including property not yet advertised for sale. Our agents personally inspect them before we send you detailed written assessments and photographs. Once you have decided which you would like to see in person, we will accompany you to subsequent viewings.

Should you decide to go ahead with the purchase, we will handle all the paperwork involved, providing translations into English where possible, and can also help you find a reputable surveyor and a notary to sign off the final deeds. Additionally, we can open an Italian bank account for you and apply for a tax code on your behalf, which you need in order to register for property taxes. These services are also provided at no extra cost*.  

Given that the buying process in Italy is very different from in the UK or US, The Property Organiser recommends that you use a lawyer to help avoid any potential legal pitfalls.

Our commitment to you does not end once we have helped you buy your dream home. The Property Organiser also caters extensively for businesses who are keen to invest in one of Europe's largest economies.

We sponsor the Italy Trade Guide - produced in association with the UK Government's UK Trade & Investment organisation, the body set up to promote overseas investment.

*The Property Organiser will instead receive a commission from the estate agent. However, we will charge you a fee where a property is sold directly by a private vendor.
